What you get with our serviced offices

The Workplace offers private serviced office suites at Regent Hill Office Park in Lonehill, Sandton, on leases from three months. Every suite is furnished, air-conditioned and exterior-facing. The monthly rent covers your furniture, dedicated telephone lines with extensions and handsets, receptionists answering in your company name, regular cleaning, all utilities and operating costs, tea and coffee served in your office three times a day, free unreserved parking, 24-hour manned security and 12 free hours of boardroom use each month. Internet access, reserved parking bays and generator power during outages are charged separately.

The Workplace is run rather more like a boutique hotel than an office rental company. It is owner-managed, the same people have been here for years, and every tenant is looked after personally — which is why so many of them stay for a decade and more, and why they tell you so themselves.

Your suite arrives ready. Furnished, cleaned, air-conditioned, with your own telephone lines and extensions, and receptionists who answer in your company name and welcome your visitors. Utilities and operating costs are in the rent. Tea and coffee are served in your office three times a day, there is a self-service station whenever you want more, and on Fridays there is cake — for everyone.

You only pay for what you use. Internet access, reserved parking bays, printing, the company driver and generator cover during outages are billed on what you actually use, and every one of them is set out in the proposal we present to you after we have met with you and understood your particular requirements. Leases start at three months, and because we are owner-managed, growing into a bigger suite is a conversation rather than a renegotiation.

What sizes of office are available?

Private suites start at 10m² for a single professional and scale up to accommodate teams of 12, all air-conditioned with exterior-facing windows — no internal-facing offices.

How flexible are the leases?

Leases start at three months and flex with your business. Because the park is owner-managed, upgrading to a bigger suite (or downsizing) is straightforward and penalty-free.

What is included in the monthly rent?

Is the internet included?

The park has high-speed uncapped fibre infrastructure, but internet access itself is charged separately — either per user per month, or at a flat monthly rate for unlimited users. We will quote you whichever suits the size of your team.

Can I choose my own furniture?

Your suite comes with our furniture package, which is a single consistent style rather than a range to choose from. You are very welcome to bring your own furniture instead, hang your pictures and decorate the space as you wish — it is your office.

Can I use the boardroom?

Yes. Serviced office tenants get 12 free hours every month across any of our three meeting room options, charged by the hour after that. The rooms are for our tenants and virtual office clients only — we do not let them out on their own.

Is there really cake on Fridays?

There is. Tea and coffee are served in your office three times a day, there is a self-service station for whenever you want more, and on Fridays cake goes round to everyone. It is a small thing, but it is the sort of place this is.
